Parentr Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

At Parentr, our mission is to provide a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment for parents, teachers, and school communities to coordinate events, communicate, and collaborate. To protect our users and platform, we do not tolerate the following prohibited uses:

Prohibited Activities

You may not use Parentr for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Fraudulent behavior, including misleading users or collecting money under false pretenses.

• Harassment, bullying, or abuse of any kind toward other users.

• Spamming or solicitation, including promoting unrelated commercial products or services.

• Impersonation of another person, teacher, school, or group.

• Unauthorized money collection, including any fundraising outside of class-related or school-approved events.

• Inappropriate content, including obscene, hateful, or discriminatory language or materials.

• Disruption of platform integrity, including hacking, attempting to access accounts or data you don’t own, or using bots or automation tools.

Payment Guidelines

Users may only collect money through Parentr for legitimate, school-related purposes such as:

• Class gifts

• Group outings or events

• Teacher appreciation efforts

• Classroom supply pooling

All collections must be transparent, voluntary, and aligned with the values of the Parentr community. Misuse of funds or deceptive fundraising will result in account suspension.

Enforcement

Parentr reserves the right to:

• Investigate reported behavior or suspicious activity

• Temporarily or permanently suspend accounts violating this policy

• Involve third-party services (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to freeze or reverse payments if fraud is detected

Reporting Violations

If you see something that seems off, please report it to us at support@parentr.com. We take community safety seriously and aim to review all reports within 48 hours.
